Brand Manager [itsu grocery]

scope of the role

This role is perfectly suited for an ambitious assistant brand manager or junior brand manager who is ready for the next challenge. The role will report directly into the Marketing Director and will work closely with the brand team [who are responsible for the brand’s creative output] and sales team.

Managing itsu [grocery]’s ‘ambient world foods’ product portfolio. This will involve:

  1. working closely with the sales team to secure new distribution [through creating compelling sales presentations, attending buyer meetings, conducting regular store visits & through on-going buyer engagement & effective trade marketing plans].
  2. tracking and analysing in-market performance, interpreting consumer research, monitoring performance of marketing campaigns, keeping up to date with the ranges you look after and the categories they operate in [new products, competitors, trends to be aware of].
  3. creating compelling and insightful briefs for the brand team to enable them to develop stand-out marketing campaigns with strong cut through.

Working with the International Sales team and distributors to define & implement brand plans globally, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.

the ideal candidate

  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years FMCG experience in marketing. In particular, working with retailers [attending buyer meetings, analysing data & implementing trade marketing plans].
  • Are analytical, proficient on Excel and have experience conducting and analysing market data and research
  • Ambitious, hard-working and a self-starter with a can- do attitude
  • Commercially focused
  • Passionate about itsu and our products & want to grow with the company.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  •  Is a team player
