role responsibility

The role of a Financial Controller will be to lead the Finance Team and manage all day-to-day matters, including, but not limited to:

• Manage, mentor, and grow the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting Teams [4 heads]
• Driving change through designing, leading, and implementing key projects, including:
  • Re-engineer PO Process in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Digitalisation of expense system
  • Redesign the internal control framework 
• Lead the Year-End process, including the year end audit, all tax-related matters, and the statutory accounts
• Accountability for all VAT matters
• Manage and review all Capital Expenditure as well as leading the Capex forecasting process
• Responsibility for the monthly Group consolidated accounts, including balance sheet and cash flow

the ideal candidate

• Qualified accountant - with at least 5 years’ experience post qualification
• Multi-site experience in retail, hospitality, or similar field
• Previous experience of finance leadership
• Strong transactional finance experience preferred
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
• You will promote the itsu values and culture in a positive light
• You have excellent communication skills, be flexible, proactive and can cultivate and build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally 
• You will generate new ideas and always looks for better ways of doing things
• You will engage, encourage, and develop your team and share their enthusiasm with others
