Food Safety Advisor [Operational]

role responsibility

As a Food Safety Advisor, you will act as a food safety expert within itsu in ensuring that its team, its food and its customers are protected through the consistent and effective delivery of high standards of Food Safety.

Here are the key responsibilities:

  • maintain the food and safety management system and internal food safety documentation
  • undertake both food safety inspections and proactive coaching visits to our shops
  • providing advice and training to our academy and shops teams
  • undertake thorough investigations following any food complaint
  • coordinate with external stakeholders [including Primary authority and local authorities]

the ideal candidate

  • you hold a minimum of level 3 food and safety training
  • you preferably hold at least an IOSH Managing Safety qualification
  • you preferably have experience of hospitality/ QSR
  • you have a logical approach to working and are able to work independently 
  • you will be able to travel across the UK to visit our various stores [same day trips]
  • you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for the highest possible standards
