scope of the role

 

The L&D Partner is a key role in the L&D team, supporting the creation, writing, implementation and delivery of operational training programs to support the development and growth of our shop teams.

The L&D partner is responsible for providing support to the People Team in the delivery of its key objectives and will be involved in various projects across the team.

  • Support and collaborate with the L&D team to create and deliver training materials of excellence for our shops
  • Design, scope, build and deliver learning solutions using a range of digital learning tools
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring training solutions in line with our culture
  • Maintain and develop the organisation's digital platforms
  • Ensure digital learning assets are embedded into a blended learning approach
  • Liaise directly with shop managers to ensure best support and advice is provided
  • Manage and coordinate the training calendar and booking process
  • Contribute and actively engage with all People project and events
  • Manage the development and implementation of the Grow [App] and Learning Portal, developing its content and evaluating its impact to improve the solution consistently.
  • Create, update, and deliver operational training workshops [masterclasses], including virtual classroom and face to face
  • Design and carry out virtual web-based training and wider blended learning techniques
  • Ensure all mandatory training is up to date and completed by employees
  • Amend and revise programmes and training materials to adapt to business changes, constantly evolving operational standards & seasonal product launches.
  • Work closely with the L&D Manager to review our core offer, always supporting our Itsu qualities [IQs] and making recommendations on how we can develop a best in class, bitesize blended approach
  • Enhance our employee engagement through the itsu values, and promote our reputation as a great place to work and to develop a career
  • Research the latest digital learning technology approaches and trends

the ideal candidate

  • Engaging and enthusiastic
  • Experienced in working with digital learning tools and platforms
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas visually and use basic packages (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader, Teams, PowerPoint etc.) to create high-quality learning materials
  • Experience within the Hospitality industry, with a passion for delivering a great customer experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build a positive relationship at all levels
  • Great understanding and ability to explain the company’s established operational procedures
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Fantastic facilitation skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and flex your communication style to the audience
  • Creativity, imagination, and initiative
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet the business needs
  • Ability to work to the full training cycle - designing, delivering, and evaluating training.
  • A recognised training qualification (e.g. Level 3 CIPD, PTLLS, or equivalent desired
  • Experience in working with Attensi products desirable
