scope of the role
We are looking for a highly skilled UK & International Marketing Manager who has experience in new store openings and a proven track record of driving growth across multiple platforms, building UK brands in international markets and increasing brand awareness in the UK all aligned to business objectives. This is a pivotal role within the business as it’s in a period of fast growth and we need someone to hit the ground running.
This role requires a keen understanding of owned, paid and earned media across multiple channels and a strong background in building partnerships. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, and working closely with design, marketing operations, PR and social, we are looking for an energetic personality passionate about the itsu brand and hospitality industry, who can own their role in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
You will be part of a vibrant, creative team that lead the way with fresh ideas and innovative thinking, whilst providing a data-led approach to drive the success of the business in the UK and abroad.

what you will be doing
- Develop, manage and execute the new store opening marketing strategy.
- Manage new store opening briefs to our PR and social team.
- Interpret research and work with itsu marketing and franchisees to develop and execute critical launch elements that are consistent with the itsu brand but locally relevant.
- Create and follow a clearly defined and communicated project plan to stakeholders, with the regular project team and Exec progress reviews to successfully launch on time.
- Ensure partners have the right marketing training, support & tools to deliver key measures through our brand initiatives.
- Supports the smooth implementation of new brand policies. processes into the franchise network, ensuring all new store openings adhere to brand requirements and are suitable to maximise sales in any given location.
- Monitor and measure new store performance to ensure sufficient marketing is in place to maximise sales.
the ideal candidate
- 5+ years of franchise marketing experience.
- Project management experience within a fast-paced environment.
- Confident in all areas of marketing and have experience in managing multiple activities.
- Excellent communicator and be willing to influence through best practice and ROI.
- Used to cross-functional working.
- The ability to analyse marketing campaigns based on results.
- Have experience managing a growth strategy across the UK and Internationally.
- Be comfortable working under pressure/in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent copywriting skills.
- Be able to demonstrate your creativity and innovation.
- Have a keenness to work in a business with exciting and ambitious growth plans.
- Be a conscientious fast learner who works well in a team and enjoys a challenge.
- Experience within hospitality or retail would be preferable but not essential.
- French is desirable but not essential.
