scope of the role
The Operations Manager is accountable for the overall performance for all shops within their area, working to build a strong team of General Managers who collaborate and all work towards our overall company strategy.
The key focuses for this role are broken down into 4 sections - people, hospitality, standards and profitability.
People. Your focus is team development and leading a confident management team, which in turn will create an environment to nurture and grow your talent, building a robust pipeline.
Hospitality. Your drive will be hospitality, putting customers and employees care at the heart of everything you do.
Quality. You will be responsible for all shop operational standards and compliance with itsu Policies, Food, Health and Safety procedures, consistently focusing on individual shop standards and overall area performance.
Profitability. Have a strong understanding of your P&L, forecast and individual shop financial performance. Your strategic mindset looks at growth sales and maximise profitability, working closely with your management team to achieve these goals.
Our Operation Managers display a deep understanding all the operations within a QSR environment. This is an all-encompassing role and demands a highly competent and organised individual, who thrives within a fast-paced customer focused business.
You take pride in building and creating a destination for health[ier] food, but above all your core passion and focus is hospitality!
the ideal candidate
- Comprehensive understanding within the QSR environment.
- Communication through a clear, honest, and enthusiastic style, that instils confidence and ensures everyone is aware of their responsibilities throughout your area.
- Team-Oriented, bringing your area together as a team, seamlessly, as a priority.
- Entrepreneurial focus on hospitality, you remain calm and collected, whilst thinking outside the box to prioritise the customer journey within your shops.
- Previous experience as Operations Manager, Area or Regional Manager or Dual Site Manager
