this is the job
The role is to support the Head of People & Talent to drive itsu’s people strategy within our people operations and academy. You will be supporting and leading key people projects that support our overall strategy and lead your team to deliver those.
core responsibilities
- A commercially focussed people leader, a critical friend to the Operations Leaders
- Working in partnership with other support functions to deliver people initiatives that are aligned to itsu’s strategy
- Leading and driving the delivery of people projects with the support of the Head of People & Talent
- Ensuring consistency and co-ordination their team of people partners
- Work closely with the People Partners and Reward & Benefits Manager to proactively seek out people problems and propose solutions using strong data & analytical background
- On-going review of all itsu policies and keeping all company literature up to date with policy changes
- Be the escalation point for complex ER cases across the business [retail & grocery where needed]
- Be the guardian of our IQs in all people related initiatives
- Work with Engagement Manager to launch our engagement surveys to ensure we are communicating with our employees and taking relevant action; analyse and present recommendations to the business for improvement and focus areas
- Lead the annual salary benchmarking process as part of annual salary review using market data surveys and legal guidance for the shop population
this is you
- 5+ years for people partnership experience within QSR, retail or hospitality
- CIPD qualified
- Strong communicator with senior management
