scope of the role

  • Own and manage all Team Member recruitment activity
  • Process Team Member requests on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Screen online applications and CVs against the criteria, the itsu qualities [values].
  • Organise Discovery Days and ensure that the appropriate documents are sent to stores
  • Add new starters onto our HRIS system and arrange weekly induction attendance
  • Report data through weekly resourcing KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to ensure attraction is at its optimum for web-based and drop-in candidates
  • Ensure the Team Member recruitment process is efficient with minimum administration so that vacancies are filled within targeted timeframes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our resourcing process to ensure that applicants have a positive experience with the itsu recruitment process
  • Monitor and review the retention rate of new trainees and identify retention opportunities alongside the Recruitment Partners and Recruitment Manager
  • Keep up to date with external influences on recruitment through regular competitor analysis
  • Ensure the itsu resourcing process is always compliant with employment law requirements
  • Ad hoc recruitment project work


the ideal candidate

  • Have a minimum of 12 months of experience in an in-house recruitment team
  • Always create a positive first impression and act professionally
  • Promote itsu qualities and culture in a positive light
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Is flexible, proactive and can cultivate and build relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Generate new ideas and always look for better ways of doing things
  • Be an itsu ambassador ensuring candidates get a positive and memorable experience
  • Have a commercial awareness of our competitors at all times
  • HR qualifications desired
