Scope of the role:
overarching:
- Support the Technical team on the safety, quality, legality and authenticity of itsu [grocery] products.
- Support the Technical team to maintain AA grade BRC Agents & Brokers certification ensuring that accurate records are completed and procedures are followed.
- Support the Technical team on a day-to-day basis with ad hoc requests and reporting.
key responsibilities:
- Provide technical administrative support to the technical category teams. Responsible for completing and keeping up to date the reports and documentation for new product launches, including one pagers, retailer forms, GS1 and the itsu website.
- Conducts legal labelling checks for new and existing international products ensuring compliance with itsu [grocery] brand standards and the labelling regulations.
- Manage the routine testing schedule [covering microbiological, chemical, nutritional and authenticity testing] and shelf-life testing. Co-ordinates testing, writes up reports and trends results.
- Manage the supplier approval database and generate routine compliance reports.
- Support the Technical Controller in maintaining itsu [grocery]’s food safety quality management system ensuring that schedules are adhered to and records completed to a high standard.
