role responsibility

  • Develop & manage our organic social media strategy (for campaigns and always on) across all platforms.
  • Champion the social agenda through a deep understanding of the social media landscape and experience managing social media comms.
  • Brief in & / or create channel-specific organic content.
  • Work with our Brand & Comms manager to build influencer relationships.
  • Remain up to date with, and share, news of social trends & conversations.
  • Track, monitor, analyse and report against always on / campaign led KPIs.
  • Manage yearly budgets for social, digital & collaborator activities.

scope of the role

We’re treasure hunting for a social-obsessed superstar to create and run our social media strategy. You’ll build our brand presence and trust through digital engagement & content creation. The Social Media Manager will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and be solely responsible for itsu's social media strategy and implementation.

the ideal candidate

  • You need to have 3+ years’ experience in social media, having been totally accountable for strategy, management and implementation (ideally in-house).
  • You’ll be able to work at both a strategic and operational level.
  • You’ll be responsible for social-first ToV & look so you’ll need to be a natural creative & wordsmith.
  • You are a confident multi-tasker [working within various departments & teams across our restaurants and grocery businesses].
  • You have plenty of experience with video editing.
  • You are unable to resist engaging with & encouraging social conversations.
  • You are well versed in the set up & management of paid campaigns.
  • You are fluent in social media management platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite.
